Terms and Conditions
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms govern your use of MARGIN. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use MARGIN on behalf of a company, you agree to them for that company and confirm you may do so.
1. The service
MARGIN reads your shop's orders, the costs you enter and the ad spend of the accounts you connect, and turns them into daily contribution margin, profit and related figures. It also lets an AI client you connect query those figures and, if you choose, write texts to your shop: product and category copy and the shop's own wording, such as buttons, messages and order emails.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials safe.
- A workspace belongs to its owner. The owner decides who else may join it and what each member may do, and is responsible for what members do in it.
- Tell us straight away if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only as far as we need to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the right to connect the shops and ad accounts you connect, and that doing so does not breach any agreement you have with anyone else.
4. Connected platforms
Your shop platform, Google Ads, Meta and the other services you connect are run by third parties under their own terms, which continue to apply to you. MARGIN depends on their availability and on the access they grant; if a platform changes or withdraws it, the part of MARGIN that relies on it may stop working.
5. AI clients and writing to your shop
You choose which AI client to connect and what it asks for. What the client does with the answers is governed by its own terms. Writing texts to your shop changes your live shop: every write is shown to you before it is made, and you are responsible for reviewing it.
6. The figures
The figures MARGIN shows are only as complete as the data behind them — orders, costs and ad spend — and it marks where cost data is missing. They are a management tool, not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and you should not rely on them in place of your own accounts.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- connect a shop or account you are not authorised to connect;
- try to access another workspace's data, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
- reverse engineer the service, or resell or sublicense it without our written permission;
- use it for anything unlawful.
8. Plans and payment
Some features need a paid plan. The price and billing terms are those shown or agreed with you when you subscribe. If a payment is not made, we may limit the workspace to the free features until it is.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep MARGIN available and correct, but provide it as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the service. If we remove something you pay for, we tell you in advance.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, revenue or data, or for decisions made on the basis of the figures. Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in those twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using MARGIN at any time and ask us to delete your account and workspace, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you before they take effect. Continuing to use MARGIN after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
